AUNA. A REAL JOHN RUSKIN JOB!

Philosopher and poet, John Ruskin’s house can be visited where it looks over one of the most beautiful lakes in Cumbria in the Lake District. He was known for his depth of wisdom on many subjects. Amongst many quotations attributed to this great man, is one about value for money and shopping to do with quality and price and runs thus: ‘It’s unwise to pay too much, but it’s worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money – that’s all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot – it can’t be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.’
We have seen this with big ugly fangs before, with this piece of Method-To-Rip-Off-People-Internationally, here: Reviewand created a new ‘˜flag rating’ called the John Ruskin Award For Utter Uselessness And Total Waste Of Effort And Expenditure
And we have found another.
Or rather a major-cool dealership has found one. Some poor lad has spent MONEY on an ‘˜amp’ claiming to make 1200 watts. It is the one at the header shot. It says on the case ‘1200 WATTS’
However, here it what is inside it:

Note the ONE output device, no MOSFET, but just one, like your nose, your belly button, and things you only have ONE of
And here it is next to a Pioneer amplifier with its base plate removed. The poor lad who bought this, then PAID for a top professional to fit it, only to find it went off pop the moment it, and it’s 7.5A fuse for ‘1,200 watts’ were given some 12V, was utterly ripped off.

I would not recommend ANY of you buy anything with the AUNA brand upon it you have been warned.
