Extreme Division Alan Dante – Powered by XS Power, Alan dominated the 2007 dB Drag world finals.
Never before has one man been able to win his division, emerge victorious from the death match, and claim the extreme cup by setting a new overall world record (179.7dB) in the same event. Alan achieved this with only 15 XS Power batteries as compared to his competition using up to 140 batteries of different brands.
Super Street Division Scottie Johnson – As a veteran competitor, Johnson realises the importance of a great foundation. A solid bank of batteries is a necessity when building a competitive SPL vehicle. His 1995 Chevy Astro was built with one goal in mind breaking records! Johnson was able to achieve this goal in November of 2006 by posting an amazing 169.5dB in a stock cabin vehicle.
This achievement comes after a long list of previous broken records and world titles.
Bass Race / Bass Boxing Tommy McKinney -Averaging an earth shattering 159.5dB musically over a 30 second period, McKinney defeated all challengers at the 2007 dB Drag World Finals.
Using less than half as many batteries as the next closest competitor, Tommy was able to average a higher score even after his windshield shattered beyond recognition!
McKinney also slayed the competition at the 2007 IASCA World Finals by bringing home the Bass Boxing heavy weight title belt.
Street Beat Steve Meade – Known for his multitude of crazy bass videos, Meade has amazed bystanders with his Tahoe’s ability to create pressure like none have ever felt.
Using only seven (7) XS Power batteries, Meade is able to achieve insane bass proven to wreak havoc on the human body; causing loss of breath, unexpected muscle reactions, and even the loss of a prosthetic eye of one observer!
