New Panasonic CD Players
Panasonic announces the launch of its new range of in-car entertainment systems for 2008, introducing a trio of in-dash CD players, the CQ-RX400N, CQ-RX300N and CQ-RX200N. With new Arc Evolution design, unmatched sound quality and a variety of advanced features, these sleek new models bring the ultimate in style and easy listening to the in-car audio experience.
Providing an effortless entertainment solution for both driver and passenger, this new range features 4 x 50x high power MOSFET amp, front auxiliary input, remote control and a detachable faceplate for safe storage, which means users can take their digital lifestyle on the road. All three models are iPod*, XM and/or Sirius satellite radio compatible (for the Yanks once againEd) as well as Bluetooth** ready when used alongside Panasonic’s Bluetooth Unit, the CY-BT200N. Panasonic’s Expansion Module, the CY-EM100N, adds to this network allowing numerous digital devices such as games consoles or camcorders to be linked to these new models simultaneously, creating a multi-source entertainment system to keep passengers amused.
Panasonic is raising the bar for the in-dash car audio market with this latest range, enabling MP3 and WMA playback from CD-R/RW discs with all three models, allowing users to listen to audio files downloaded from the internet or transferred from CDs. The CQ-RX400N is capable of reading the high-performance AAC format, an international audio compression standard that needs only two thirds of the file size of MP3 to achieve equivalent sound quality.
Listening to your iPod in-car is simpler than ever, thanks to the direct connection and control capabilities of the CQ-RX400N. Seamless access to iPod music is easy with a USB cable included with this model allowing for connection from the device straight into the USB port on the faceplate front to enjoy faster track selection and seamless use of playlists for users. As well as displaying artist and album names, the USB connection supports flash drives, thumb drives and MP3 storage devices containing compressed music files from computers, allowing audio playback from any file format.
Combining state-of-the art sound quality, multi-source entertainment, including iPod and Bluetooth connectivity all in a stylish design, this new range of units bring the ultimate in audio entertainment to any car.
All three models will be available from March 2008. The CQ-RX400N will be priced at £139.99, the CQ-RX300N at £119.99 and CQ-RX200N at £99.99.
