Clarion has taken cutting edge design to another level with the launch of the DUB278RMP. Blending razor-sharp looks with state-of-the-art materials, to create an audio source unit suitable for the most contemporary car interiors.
Aiming to minimise the number of buttons needed, the DUB278RMP is the result of extensive work by Clarion’s Research & Development facility, leading to the successful synergy of minimalist design with leading edge technology, connectivity and performance.

The 2-DIN AM/FM source unit is CD-R/RW ready and MP3 and WMA compatible – with ID3-TAG display – and features a front AUX input to cater for the connectivity of portable MP3 players, whilst a front facing USB port allows input for the storage of up to 255 folders supporting 15,000 digital audio files.
The futuristic looks of the DUB278RMP are created through precise control of the RGB (red, green, blue) levels, to customise the 728 available display colours with that of your dashboard and instrument panels, whilst a high visibility single line display and choice of screensavers makes reading information clear.
The DUB278RMP features a 4 x 50W MOS-FET amplifier – more compact and efficient than conventional devices – to deliver more power with less distortion and no switching noise.
Clarion’s Magna Bass EX feature provides extra low-frequency impact – boosting by up to 10dB at 60 Hz – whilst Z-Enhancer sound technology provides three pre-sets to boost the bass, treble, or both, when desired.
