Canny Canucks Bassworx now in UK

The cuddly-monikered Fatman and TL Audio home HiFi people have gone into cahoots with the Canadian Bassworx company who make high quality subwoofer enclosures, as well as offering a line in subwoofer drivers and amplifiers. Here’s what they have to say….
TL Audio teams up with Bassworx to drive new car audio business
TL Audio, the award-winning maker of valve-based professional recording equipment, and the name behind the hugely successful Fatman consumer electronics brand, teams up in the UK with car audio specialist Bassworx.

TL Audio is proud to announce a new business partnership for the car audio market. With immediate effect the maker behind valve-based recording gear, used by the likes of Coldplay and Dizzee Rascal, joins with Bassworx to distribute the Canadian maker’s extraordinary range of in-car amplifiers, speakers and subwoofers.
Bassworx brings the meaning of the word ‘loud’ to another dimension. Having proven, back in 2002, car audio fans don’t need a custom enclosure to get maximum bass, Bassworx’ latest line-up offers a complete in-car sound solution. From amplifiers, to loudspeakers, to subwoofers, the range has been engineered to do one thing: play LOUD.
Kevin Grosvenor, formerly of Harman International, joins TL Audio to lead Bassworx’ UK sales and distribution; James Roth heads international sales and marketing; and Tony Larking continues to lead TL Audio.
Tony Larking said, “At TL Audio we see ourselves as market innovators, hence the immediate synergy with Bassworx’ pioneering range. In these challenging business conditions, this deal presents an outstanding opportunity for both companies and we look forward to driving lots of business in the direction of Bassworx and its (ever increasing) dealer network.”
