Bravox from Brazil Here in UK

Bravox are one of the biggest speaker makers on the planet but you likely ain’t heard of them because they come from the land Ronnie Biggs ran away to! Famous for their love of music and dance, it is hardly surprising that as long ago as 1953 a passionate set of Brazilian speaker designers and engineers started up a speaker manufacturer.
Endorsed by none other than legendary US speaker designer and author of the Loudspeaker Design Cookbook, Vance Dickason, the Bravox guys make speakers for home, professional and automotive use.
They produce subwoofers from entry level to weapons grade with some of each having made it to our shores and there are two way and even a three way set of speaker components made. So far we know that the CXS coaxials are in the UK as are their UXP and EDX subwoofers.

The outfit is huge and has its own anechoic chamber and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) kit and uses extensive amounts of Computer Aided Engineering and Computer Aided Design. (CAE/CAD) They even have a specialist automotive laboratory where they fit speakers to a car to test them.
This makes their quality and expertise amongst the highest and they have some really impressive customers. Here’s a list of some of the companies Bravox have made for…
Harmon Kardon, SAS Bazooka, Energy, Mirage, M&K, MB Quart, Polk, Ford, VW, Fiat, Renault, GM. They also supply London Underground, British Rail and Heathrow Airport, plus many top end Home Cinema companies.
