Modified Nationals To Be Only Worthy Ice Show
The top show for ICE this year looks likely to be the Modified Nationals with Fusion as an Ice sponsor and Vibe’s huge exhibition effort already promised. So brands exhibiting indoors will include Vibe, Fli, Fusion, JBL, Infinity, and also the nuttahs from Digital Designs. Here There Be Monsters! It’s going to be a great weekend for sound off boys too with both EMMA and dB Drag running competitions over the weekend.
Talk Audio has learned on the Ice-vine that some big mobile electronics exhibitors have been pulling out of other shows as they are reducing budgets. Nevertheless, the MN’s ride high and are going to be the usual heaving mayhem of cars and girls. I personally am gutted not to be judging the booby contests as this year it has gone to Max Power mag who are running their Max Power Babe contest”> and these days I’m more yer Fast Car man! But I will be presenting some of the mad petrol-based entertainment, best of which will be a rolling road BHP competition. It’ll be a real take it Out & Measure It job, with blokes trying to scrump every last apple of effort out of their rides’ engines. I sincerely hope to see some insane bhp action over the weekend.
Right now the main thing for me is to be able to tell you that Talk Audio will be there! And that Ian ‘Iceman’ Pinder of Gadget Show fame will be on our stand again, bassing the living heck out of the entire hall every now and again. Whether we get him rolled out into the outside world to go tussle with the dB Drag guys who will be there in force, is another matter!
The full sponsors list has been finalised and includes Fusion as audio brand sponsors, with http://www.caraudiosecurity.com/ as retail partners (mad bargains on the day no doubt) , DOTZ, POTN, Autoglym, and House of Kolor on the car and care side and the Vodka Kick guys in support of the evening revelry. It’s shaping up to be a belter – here’s hoping the weather is kinder to us!
