New Hertz HP Amplifiers

A brand new range of high performance amplifiers from Hertz provides a prestige match for the brand’s high-end speakers. Capable of delivering huge amounts of power and crammed with ground breaking technology, the amps offer a depth of range which allows the specialist dealer to build stunning in-car Hi-fi systems.
The head of the range is the HP1 KD 3,200 Watt class D mono block which was awarded an innovations award at CES in Las Vegas back in January, since then it has been joined by four other amplifiers completing a comprehensive line-up for all applications.

Each HP amplifier contains a microprocessor-based management system, called HP Manager, which monitors performance and protects the amplifier when conditions become too critical. The system will feed back information to the user/installer allowing problems to be quickly identified and rectified before damage ensues. HP Manager will protect the amplifiers against output overload, short circuit, thermal overload, battery over voltage and other potentially hazardous conditions.
HP RTS allows Real Time Setting of all filter and crossover adjustments allowing dynamic set-up and tweaking for those always seeking optimum performance. Additional remote bass and volume adjustments can be made from the driving position when the amplifiers are matched with the appropriate accessories.
