Talk Audio at Modified Nationals

Talk Audio has been appointed an Associate Sponsor of the hugely successful Modified Nationals show. With its sixth outing on the weekend of May 24th and 25th 2008, there’s a day beforehand for folks to arrive and party and the Bank Holiday Monday to recover afterwards, the show is always huge. Expanding rapidly over the years, they broke their gate record this year even though the heavens opened as they did everywhere last summer.
The expansive East of England Showground has had a transformation and now houses a superb new exhibition facility, complete with posh paved and tarmac area out the front and truck parking around the back. The infrastructure of the whole site has leaped forward and they have now many acres under tarmac for day visitors’ cars to park. Even the family camping will be on the old golf driving range so perfect turf for a show. Twenty five thousand visitors are expected through the gates at most conservative estimate for 2008.
What has been missing for years in the UK has been a dedicated mobile electronics show. Our passion has been affixed to bigger shows like the Ideal Home show or the now no-longer-held Max Power Live. That is going to change. A big portion of the all-new massive exhibition hall has been booked, with an option to use the whole football field sized venue if we can fill it and TA are involved. Space inside and out is available – Vibe just have to have some outdoor Space Gate space – and it’s a whole load keener rate for companies to climb onto than the Big Boys as this is a new thing.
Talk Audio is proud to be involved and looks to be getting a prime spot in the hall front-and centre, (if only small) so we can advise visitors where to satisfy their urge and also just to have a good nag with our people and anyone who wants to er, talk audio! As well as inviting companies who fancy being there to get in touch, we also want to hear from Forum-folks who want to help man the stand.
